International Flavours Abound in brEAThe Kitchen

When asked ‘what do you want for dinner?’ does your mind immediately go to your favourite comfort foods or do you take the opportunity to explore what is new and tasty? Today, I want to share three of my signature pies, each with incredible unique flavours but do not worry, they all go great with our TraditionalApple Pie for dessert!

brEATheKitchen pays homage to Japan with our  Japanese Curry Pie, the USA and their penchant for hot sauce with the Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Pie, and India with the finger-licking ButterChick N Pie

The Inspiration Behind the Pie’s


Based on the classic Indian dish made with tofu, mildly spiced creamy tomato sauce, and oodles of flavour. It is topped with black sesame seeds. The cuisine of India is part of Canadian culinary culture, and to have a menu without a pie inspired by this spicy part of the world would seem wrong! 




Chunky vegan beef in Japanese curry sauce (Katsu). It is topped with steak spice. The inspiration for this pie came from a sentimental journey I took with an old friend who had visited Japan. We shared our trip stories and reconnected over the warm memories of a country.




Delicious cauliflower vegan wings with a tantalizingly spicy flavour. It is topped with chilli flakes. Cauliflower has been trending for years, so I decided to translate the spicy cauliflower ‘wings’ into a delicious pie that will make you all warm inside.
